Margie Hord de Mendez
Born in Honduras of Canadian parents, I later came to Mexico and have spent a great part of my life here. Retired English (as a foreign language) teacher, I am a linguist, translator, and author. I love exploring the small "magic" towns of Mexico. I write about cross-cultural living, relationships, aging, widowhood, faith... and more. During the pandemic I walked at least 6,000 steps a day (see my article) and learned to make loquat jam!
