I identify a lot! Nowadays hardly anyone wears them, except for black tights. But my legs are NOT to show off these days; still, pants are more acceptable nowadays. And I wonder if you mean elegy (like a funeral speech), though eulogy might work... still, it means "words of praise". I guess elegies include that too, haha.
