Snowflake I
A poem

Eternity
crystallized in anonymity
he fell from heaven
like any other snowflake
except that angels sang
and
under closer scrutiny
he was seen to be
a complex, dazzling star.
One day
he will be magnified
for all the world to behold
his unmelting essence.
